La Littérature Noire Symbole De Souffrance Et De Révolte. Etude De Cas Du Roman “racines” D’alex Haley Et Sa Traduction Vers L’arabe De Said Mohamed Abdelmouneem (الجذور)
Part of Black Africa has long suffered from slavery and mistreatment affecting dignity and human rights that would have given the African people a decent and peaceful life. Literature has been able to express the misfortunes of Black people who were oppressed, mistreated, and robbed of their freedom and natural resources; they were forced to do only hard labour. That is why only words have been able to reveal the revolt of the African man and denounce the atrocities he has suffered. ."Roots" is a beautiful and painful novel that tells the story of an American Black slave family in North America, written by Alex Haley and published in 1976. Did Said Mohamed Abdelmouneem succeed in translating the novel's ideas with their historical context and creating the same reaction in the reader as the original text? This question will be raised in this paper to see if the translator was faithful in his transfer and was able to convey the message expressed in the original text. For many centuries, a significant part of Sub-Saharan Africa endured the horrors of slavery, colonization, and various forms of abuse that severely violated human dignity and fundamental human rights. African peoples were deprived of their freedom, exploited on their own land or forcibly deported to foreign continents, stripped of their natural wealth, and subjected to forced labor. These injustices condemned them to lives marked by suffering, oppression, and dispossession. In response to this tragic reality, literature emerged as a powerful means of expression and resistance. Through words, writers were able to convey the pain endured by oppressed Black people, expose the brutality of slavery, and give voice to those who had long been silenced. Literary works thus played a crucial role in preserving collective memory and revealing the inner revolt of the African being against dehumanization and injustice. Published in 1976, Roots by Alex Haley is one of the most influential novels dealing with the history of African-American slavery. The novel recounts the moving story of several generations of an African family, beginning with the capture of Kunta Kinte in Africa and following the lives of his descendants in North America. Through this deeply emotional and historically grounded narrative, Haley sheds light on the violence of the transatlantic slave trade, the systematic dehumanization of enslaved Africans, as well as their resilience, resistance, and enduring connection to their cultural roots. The Arabic translation of Roots by Said Mohamed Abdelmouneem raises a fundamental question: was the translator able to faithfully convey the ideas of the novel while preserving its historical, cultural, and emotional context? Did the translated text succeed in producing the same emotional impact on its readers as the original did? This article seeks to explore these questions by examining the translator’s fidelity and assessing how effectively the original message, human values, and symbolic depth of the novel have been transmitted.

Les Textes Des Sites Web Sportifs Entre La Traduction Et La Localisation : étude Pratique Sur Des Textes Tirés Du Site De Beinsports
This study aims to highlight the different changes that may happen when localising texts of sports websites compared to widely known translation. By the way of a practical study in which we submitted four short texts, extracted in the BeinSports website, to a translation and localization operation towards French-speaking countries, we were able to demonstrate that localisation of textual contents contains many specificities little explored, until now, in the field of translation studies.

Translating In The Age Of Ai: Changes In Learning Practices And Educational Challenges

Traduire Le Pataouete : Enjeux Linguistiques Et Culturels Dans Le Premier Homme D'albert Camus
(المجلة الجزائرية لعلوم اللسان - كلية اللغة العربية وأدابها - جامعة الجزائر 02 أبو القاسم سعد الله, 2025-06-12) Ait Meziane, Karima
Comment restituer le "pataouète" dans les œuvres d'Albert Camus ? Issu de Belcourt, l'auteur imprègne son écriture de ce parler populaire algérois, fruit d'un métissage linguistique entre français, arabe, berbère, espagnol et italien. La traduction de ces expressions, intrinsèquement liées à un contexte culturel singulier, pose des enjeux complexes, illustrés par El Primer Hombre d'Aurora Bernárdez

Traduire La Formule De L'invocation Dans Riyad As-salihin étude Contrastive De Trois Traductions Françaises
(المجلة الجزائرية لعلوم اللسان - مخبر اللسانيات وعلم الإجتماع اللغوي وتعليمية اللغات - كلية اللغة العربية وأدابها- جامعة الجزائر02- أبو القاسم سعد الله, 2024-06-28) Alburayt, Orjuwan; Elanwar, Amal
Abstract This research focused on a contrastive analysis of the three French translations of the hadiths from the Book of invocations in Riyâd As-Sâlihîn by Imâm An-Nawawî, the translations made by: Salah El-Din Kechrid (1994), Zakaria Makri (2007), and Rachid Ma'ach (2020). The importance lies in the fact that the formulas of the Prophetic invocation deserve more attention and revision by researchers and translators of reliable institutions. We present an overview of the vocative case in Arabic and French, then we analyze the translations of the vocative (اللَّهُمَّ) those of the formulas for seeking refuge from Allah and asking Allah. We concluded that the three translations varied in terms of choice of terminology, sentence structures, use of translation processes, and were similar in the translation of the formula of asking Allah. Zakaria Makri's translation was often the best.
